Planning, Branding

Given our job roles I am designing the logo for I am Creative.  As a group we wanted something that stand out and that will look unique against other design proposals.  Looking at fonts, we knew we wanted big and bold.

The first font listed here is called Franchise and the second Cubano.  As you can see both fonts share similar qualities such as colour and the letter spacing.  We decided as a group which fonts would fit best.  I suggested I could manipulate these to my own font but we decided that this wasn't needed.

Colours I wanted to use were mainly primary colours.  I have used Blue, Light blue, Red, Green, Purple, Yellow and brown.  The idea of paint splatters was more of a hands on idea as I loved how this can be digital and hand made.  I have made the 'I Am' part of the font larger and on a separate line.  Some of the reasons for this were in my eyes It makes us look proud of what we are and what we do.  Its also personal and looks bold and confident.  Creative is listed underneath.  I have been careful with the paint splatters as too many could visually scare the lettering and be un-readable.
