After looking at James White's poster designs and gathering inspiration from other areas, I have come up with some maybe to-go forward designs using pencil and paper.

Above here I have combined The Above and Beyond logo with many other types of correlated objects or elements.  In the bottom right corner shows just a small ideas box of what I was thinking.  In these designs I have included the Sydney harbour bridge, the city and some other elements that I have gathered from other areas.  I particularly like the one with the hands what is meant to be in the shape of a heart around the logo.

Above here are some other ideas.  I have again used the logo and played around with how this may be best presented.  I like the top left one and how the logo is split over the page.  The layout almost seems like its in 4 boxes with the '&' overlaying in the middle.  In each other box is the A in the logo, the Opra house, the bridge and the B in the logo.  This is unique and differs from my other designs and work.  Each box is like a stamp and I think with the right colour would go along very well.  Again next in line Ive used the harbour scenery and this time written Above and Beyond out in full.  This is used a lot as well as their logo.  I have drawn pencil lines coming out of the centre to imitate light and beams as part of their live shows.  The same sort of effect is used in the third.  In the next, I have again used the same sort of effect with the type and the Opra house this time.  I have given some ripples  below to imitate the water in the harbour.  The last is one of my favourites, beams of light shining through out the night sky sourcing from the logo. and harbour scenery.

Above here are the ideas I have gathered from James White's 'Explorer' poster.  Using that iconic shape as a presentable background shape for the logo.  Stars and space like elements surround it, including Sydney harbour along the bottom banner of the posters.

This above is the same sort of idea as the 4 before, just in a larger scale. 

I played around more using different foundations that I already wanted to include such as the harbour bridge and logo.  I have used pen here so the lines are more prominent within the posts.  Two that differ a lot as to my other thoughts and ideas are the two on the right hand side.  I thought is could be more original to use the Australian flag as a background or backdrop following beams of lights behind as I have used in my other ideas.  The flag is at an angle and curved slightly to look as if its in the wind.  As this is about Above and Beyond and Australia I thought this was a good design.  The one below it follows from one of their icon songs, 'Sun and Moon'.  I have had sun and half moon in the poster.  The lyrics follow as 'I'm sorry baby, you were the sun and moon to me. I'll never get over you, you'll never get over me'.  I thought would go along well.  I would have different colours but these are just the foundations of my design.s
